Trey began his career as a lawyer at our firm in 2001, and his practice has always focused on bankruptcy. He likes the fact that bankruptcy, more than many other practice areas, is driven by legal rather than factual disputes. When you ask Trey what he likes about his work as an attorney, his answer is quick and pointed: he gets to help people improve their lives.

There are many complex situations that can arise during a bankruptcy case. Trey enjoys working with his clients to resolve those situations as quickly as possible. The law becomes a tool that helps him craft strategies to help his clients begin a fresh start to their financial lives.

Life Outside the Office

His relationship with his wife, Liana, his two daughters, and his church family form the nucleus of Trey’s life. Trey enjoys watching his daughters compete in soccer, basketball, and volleyball. In cooperation with Liana and his daughters, Trey also spends a lot of time and energy spoiling a Miniature Australian Shepherd.

Trey loves reading, history, music, and rooting for the Razorbacks to win. He enjoys passionate and often arcane discussions about random topics. He can sometimes be found managing his English Premier League fantasy team, and he hopes one day to travel to Europe with Liana.
