Following a fall in the hospital, despite the nurse being there, it took a doctor to examine my husband 54 minutes, at which point his GCS 5. An inquest was held & the pathologist explained that had my husband been treated sooner than he would have survived & that he had died following the fall in the hospital, causing a hemorrhage in the brain.
I am sorry for your loss. In Arkansas, you have only two years from the date of an incident to bring any action. It sounds like it was difficult for you and your family, but I regret to tell you that the deadline has passed and you cannot sue the hospital.
